This was a lot faster than expected, but the Arch Linux developers
have just pushed a few minutes ago, November 14, 2013, the final and
stable packages of the recently released Linux kernel 3.12.
Officially announced by Linus Torvalds on November 3, 2013, Linux kernel 3.12 brings several attractive features, among which we can mention support for offline deduplication in Btrfs, better performance for AMD Radeon graphics, RAID5 multithreading, automatic GPU switching in laptops with dual GPUs, better Out-Of-Memory handling, XFS directory recursion scalability improvements, improved TTY layer locking, as well as new drivers and lots of bugfixes.
Therefore, all Arch Linux users can now update their rolling-release systems to the brand new Linux kernel 3.12 using the sudo pacman -Syu command in a terminal, or via their favorite pacman GUI or CLI.
