OnePlus X Vs OnePlus One Review

OnePlus X Vs OnePlus One

After a slew of leaks and speculations, OnePlus has finally introduced an affordable handset in its prestigious smartphone lineup.

The new phone aka OnePlus X is a low cost smartphone in a high-end disguise. It packs an alluring design with a powerful processor, and has all essential elements to call itself one of the finest phones in the sub 20k category. But, the fun does not end here!
We all know that OnePlus X is not the only beast in the mid-range segment, and there are players like OnePlus One and Xiaomi Mi4 as well.  You can pick any of these beauties, but the fact is they all are very close in terms of hardware and software specs.

We already assume the stellar OnePlus X can go against the Mi4, but, it still remains to be seen how the new phone takes on its elder sibling, the original flagship killer, OnePlus One. So, let’s have a look on the spec of sheet of both devices, and see which one comes on the top.

Design and Build
The design of OnePlus One and OnePlus X is a real piece artwork. Both phones look fairly well crafted, and are way better than several mid-range phones rolling in the market. Last year, OnePlus One marked the sway of big screen phones with a humongous display and good looking sandstone finish, but this time around, the new “X” variant gives reminiscence of the iPhone 4, and brings a compact setup of metal and glass. It feels more premium than smartphones coming at the double of its price, and is fairly sleek and compact as well. Specifically, the new handset is 2mm thinner than the OnePlus One, and will come in two different finishes: Onyx and Ceramic.

The Black Onyx variant will flaunt rounded metal bezels with glass on the back, while the limited edition Ceramic variant will add a little more elegance with its beveled edges. OnePlus One, on the other end, came in two rear panel finishes, Sandstone Black and Silk White.

Display Quality
While the viewing experience remains exceptional, screen size creates a small line of difference between OnePlus One and OnePlus X. The new Glass built OnePlus X features a 5-inch AMOLED panel, while the old flagship killer OnePlus One sports a slightly bigger 5.5-inch LTPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. They both feature an identical screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, and produce vivid colors and better contrasts without any issues. Pixel Density is a minor difference, but that doesn’t really counts as both phones produce best results, indoors as well as outdoors.

Hardware and Performance
Under the hood, it’s a close call between OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X. The powerful OnePlus One powers up a quad-core Snapdragon 801 chipset clocked at 2.3GHz. It pairs up with 3GB RAM, and performs quite nicely without any lags or glitches. However, the irony is OnePlus X also powers up by the same processor. Despite coming one year later after OnePlus One, the new “X” variant features the same chipset without any upgrades. It clocks at 2.5GHz and pairs up with 3GB RAM for maintaining better performance standards than the recently launched Snapdragon 617 mediocre SoC.

Software
As expected, there is a big difference between the OS of both smartphones. OnePlus One runs Android Lollipop-based CyanogenMod OS, while OnePlus X operates under the proprietary Android Lollipop based Oxygen OS, the same that comes with the OnePlus 2. Many of us also expected Android 6.0 Marshmallow this time, but looks like, OnePlus is the big thing for its next high-end smartphone. However, the update for Marshmallow will be up and running on these phones as well.

Camera
OnePlus finally has a good news for selfie lovers. The rear camera OnePlus X is the same 13-megapixel shooter that comes with OnePlus One, but the front-facing snapper of the new phone brings a quintessential upgrade. The front-facing camera of OnePlus X features an 8-megapixel sensor, which is slightly better than the 5MP shooter of the OnePlus One. So, whether it’s a daytime or night time selfie, you’ll best results with enhanced pixel count and excellent color reproduction from this device.

Battery Support
Although both phones offer quite powerful, on-paper battery capacity still marks a major difference between them. The 3100mAh battery equipped with OnePlus One serves as a powerhouse and offers full day battery backup without running out charges. It’s absolutely perfect for heavy users, and can easily outperform several high-end phones without any issues. But, the case with OnePlus X is slightly different. The newly launched handset from the company houses a smaller 2,525mAh battery, and might not last for an entire day. It will do just fine on standard usage, but would need an external power source on heavy usage.

Price
In the Indian market, the 64GB variant of OnePlus One is hitting the shelves successfully at Rs. 19,999. The device is available on Amazon India, and does not require an invite to be purchased.
On the other side, the Onyx variant of OnePlus X will start rolling from November 5 exclusively via Amazon India. The device will be purchased through Invite system initially, but the company will hold occasional open sales as well. Its limited edition Ceramic variant with a better look and feel will come at a slightly higher price tag of Rs. 22,999 respectively.

Final Verdict
You can expect smooth performance from both phones, but the fact is, small differences add up and make OnePlus X slightly better than OnePlus One. Apart from battery capacity, there is no legitimate reason makes OnePlus X weaker than its predecessor. The new handset packs a better design and faster processor which, according to us, is more than enough to declare OnePlus X as a better option. And, not to forget, affordable pricing also plays a significant role in making of this handset.

So, if you’re feeling puzzled between OnePlus X and OnePlus One, as which one to pick, we suggest you to go with the new handset instead of the old one.

Accessories That Supercharge your iPhone Camera

Accessories That Supercharge your iPhone Camera

Computers come with mice. TVs are paired with remotes. It’s about time to supplement your iPhone with the latest camera peripherals.

With these quality iPhone accessories, you can kill two birds with one stone by enhancing photo/video recording capabilities AND stylizing your phone with gear reminiscent of the recent Batman movies. At the expense of extra mass and a few minutes of setup time at most, the ends will certainly justify the means. Li Huang of Fueled, a premiere AppleWatch app development agency provides five optic accessories that will give your phone a most captivating sidekick.

Joby GripTight Gorillapod Stand

Can’t get a grip on life? Go primate. Get up. Beat your chest. Then get yourself a Joby Gorillapod Stand for your phone. The name might sound intimidating but you’ll only be startled by how efficient the product is. Similar to the standard tripod, Joby’s line features a stand that has 3 legs. What sets it aside from other tripods is that it has over 24 leg joints. These joints are as flexible as an Olympic acrobat, allowing users to shoot from many hard-to-capture angles. But there’s more. While the Gorillapod Stand is holding your phone firmly, its internal steel springs allow for mount expansion. A quick-release mechanism on the mount serves as a blessing for newbies by providing an instant setup. This product utilizes the industry-standard universal tripod screw, so it can adapt to many leg-minded cameras. The smartphone adapter has a modest support range, making it compatible with phones 2.1-2.8” in width, including casing. Like other tripods, this item can be folded up. At only 9.1” in height and 11.5 ounces, this stand is very travel friendly. Last but not least, what gives this gorilla its fearsome appeal and justifies the “GripTight” title is the rubber footing which allows its tamer to watch and record videos with the smoothest experience possible.

Nova
Doctor Evil has a mini-me. 1-liter soda bottles are the mini-me of 2-liter bottles. Heck, there are even mini Oreos. So why shouldn’t your iPhone have a miniature counterpart? Introducing Nova. Super small and slim, you might mistake it for 1 of 52 in a deck of cards or attempt to swipe it at the checkout line after you fumble through your wallet. That is, until you hold it up on a sunny day. The gleam will give it away. Nova is a super powered device in sleek and compact form that takes amazing photos wirelessly with a flash of approval. If you’re passionate about capturing your best memories in the best light, Nova will not let you down. It is backed by 40 different points of diffused light. Photos taken by this product are as stunning as the background permits it and then some. Nova enriches your photos by injecting soft, natural light. It also auto-adjusts warm and cool light to make the climate more engaging to the viewer. All the light is filtered through a white panel to make it easier on the eyes. If you’re an iPhone owner who’s had bad experiences with taking photos with your phone and/or you don’t rely on the iPhone camera, then Nova would definitely be an option worth checking out. Many people think that the miniature version of anything is usually something that is inferior or lacking in texture to the original. Own an iPhone? Order a Nova and see that it’s breaking boundaries and stereotypes at the same time.

Camalapse

If one you’re that has difficulty mastering a smooth timelapse video AND are looking for a  quality mount for your phone, look no further. The Camalapse gives users the perfect flat edge mount but also features a rotating stand for those who want to capture flawless 360 degree timelapse videos. Attach your phone to Camalapse and let it work its magic. Like a dial timer, just point your lens in the desired position. To begin recording, twist the Camalapse and start your camera. A 90 degree rotation would take 15 minutes to complete, so naturally a full circle would take an hour to cycle. What goes around comes around may ring true in other facets of life, but it definitely resonates with the Camlapse. The starting angle of your camera should be where the video recording starts—and finishes—making it come full circle. Best of all, you can also attach the product to any tripod and its small size makes it very travel-efficient. No, it won’t be like the spinning head from those Exorcist movies, but if you get yourself one of these, you’ll be sure to remember it for a long time.

Mpow 3 in 1 Clip-on Lens
Many things come in trios. The 3 Stooges. The 3 Amigos. Now camera lenses??? The Mpow 3 in 1 Clip-on Lens come with Mobile Fisheye Lens, macro lens, and wide angle lens. “Yea, they’re just lenses” you think. Indeed individually they would “just be lenses,” but the power of 3 compels all mobile users who have a knack for exploring the limits of smartphone visuals to have plenty of options.

Ever wonder how animal of prey perceive the world? With eyes situated on the sides of their head, it is an intriguing thought indeed. Fathom no more. The Supreme Fisheye provides users with 180 degree vision so when they clip the lens onto their phones, they are able to see everything on a linear plane that ranges from the direct left of the lens to the direct right of it. Furthermore, there is no Dark Circle accompanying the Fisheye Lens, so users get a full, pure view of nature’s beauty. This should be enough to spark the imagination of the visually weary yet satiate the curiosity of wayward thinkers. Want to capture a shot of that pillow feather that’s slowly drifting in the air? Or maybe a celebrity’s face from afar? Mpow has a remedy for your needs. Its 10X macro lens allow for clarity captures of the smallest objects from decent proximity. “The more the merrier” is a phrase that many want to incorporate with friends and family, even when taking photos. If you happen to be with a large group of people and want to capture a moment by stuffing as many in the photo oven at the same time as possible, 0.67X wide angle lens should fit comfortably onto your phone. But wide angle lens can serve its functions just as well when taking shots of buildings and landscapes.
So what is the glue or common thread that holds the three lenses together? The Mpow 3 in 1 comes with a universal detachable clamp design that adheres to most mobile phones, so long as their cameras lenses are not bigger than 13mm in diameter. It’s easy to toggle and even works on tablets and laptops! Think about it this way. Your phone is a high-powered rifle. At its muzzle you can put on a silencer of your choice. These 3 lenses are each a special silencer of its own frequency, designed for its own target. Equipping this 3-pack to your phone will certainly bring new color to it, so to speak. If you are obsessed with visual variety but are not a professional photographer or just like to shop by the bundle, this triumvirate would certainly be something to keep an eye out for.

Sony QX1

Do you remember that high school jock? The star athlete who excelled academically and on the field? The most popular one who got the attention of all the girls? Yea… Meet the Sony QX1. It is the ultimate playboy of mobile camera accessories. The Sony E Lens Mount gives users open cabinet access to all sorts of interchangeable lenses, Sony and beyond. With certain adapters, you can even use A-Mount lenses. This gives users more power to carefully craft the perfect photographs. The product’s 20.1 MP APS-C sized Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor and BIONZ X image processor team up to bring users the highest resolution, even in dim lighting, all with minimal noise and 16000 ISO sensitivity. When shooting in darker areas, its built-in pop-up flash will go off to illuminate the surroundings. And did I mention, this thing has its own processor?!

This perfect blend of variety  makes the QX1 stand tall above the competition. How about a speedy 25-point contrast-detection AF system? No? A smooth, consistent 3.5 fps shooting rate? No? I guess the full HD 1080p video recording function at 30fps won’t pass as well… Raw file recording is also possible, and you can save these onto microSD or Memory Stick Micro memory cards with or without delving into the advanced editing techniques. On top of that, did you know that the Sony QX1 has Wi-Fi? Near Field Communication (NFC) capability allows for one-touch connection between the camera and your phone. You can upload photos via email, social networking, and cloud. The QX1 clips onto the smartphone, but it can snap photos regardless of whether it is attached to anything.

If you’re a seasoned photographer who’s gone out without that one grand camera, the QX1 would be the proper substitute to go with your mobile. But you don’t have to be a pro to use this product. Just enthusiastic. Or willing to show off. Or both. Either way, It’ll have all your Instagram and Facebook friends wondering why their photos don’t look anywhere as good. With all the heavy duty specs that this product packs, you wouldn’t be the first to wonder how it’s just an accessory.

Whether it’s love, money, happiness, or whatever else, we all travel different roads to achieve a common goal. Much like different math teachers who teach the same curriculum, these iPhone accessories come in different sizes, shapes, and mediums  but they all direct iPhone users toward the goal of visual efficiency. The countdown is over, but hopefully the list has fostered a partnership between your iPhone and some of these superb camera accessories. Some people revamp their vehicle headlights and put bling on its wheels. Why not do the same with your phone?. Be bold and give it a kickass appeal. Any less and you won’t be doing it (or yourself) a service.

Some Cool 3D Printed Gadgets That Are Changing The World

Some Cool 3D Printed Gadgets that are Changing the World

Nowadays, sketching a map of a skyscraper takes little time, thanks to 3D. Animation caracters on the TV look real, again thanks to 3D. I no longer feel excited seeing the popularity of 3D skyrocketing because I’m convinced 3D deserves it.

I guess you’d also agree that 3D holds all the aces up its sleeves. It has application in the construction industry, in the aerospace industry, in the toy manufacturing industry and in many other industries. And newer industries are welcoming 3D for obvious reasons.

Gadgets are the future

My mouth starts watering when I come across cool gadgets. I can hardly resist myself from buying them. My love for those fancy tech appliances led me to discover a crossroad between 3D and gadgets. I haven’t yet fully discovered it, and rather in the process of discovering.

In this article, I’ll share with you what I’ve managed to discover so far.

Advanced 3D printers

Behind every achievement of 3D is a printer. As more and more research is going on in this landscape, the printers are getting excellent makeovers. Yesterday’s 3D printers are outdated now, the new printers are getting more equipped and more advanced.

Remember T-1000 from the movie Terminator 2 (1991)? Its body was made of some kind of liquid, allowing it to take whatever shape it wants to take. The idea inspired a company called Carbon 3D to work on a new type of 3D printer.

The technology behind the new printer is called continuous liquid interface production. There’s a projector in the printer, manufactured by Carbon 3D. The projector renders the configuration of an object, and the build platform makes it come in shape by moving up from the UV curable resin.

This is just one example; there are plenty other cool 3D printers and they can change the future for virtual rendering.

3D printed stethoscope

Doctors can now grab themselves a 3D printed stethoscope, which looks and works similar to a non-3D printed, conventional stethoscope. Tarek Loubani, an emergency physician, living in the Gaza Strip is its developer; the stethoscope is outrageously inexpensive as it costs only 30¢.

Loubani described the stethoscope by saying “This stethoscope is as good as any tethoscope out there in the world and we have the data to prove it.” The development of the stethoscope is a part of a larger initiative called The Gila Project, next in line are an electrocardiogram and a pulse oximeter, both 3D printed.

3D printed car

3D printing can hugely benefit the automobile sector. Sergio Marchionne of Fiat-Chrysler proposed a solution to bring the down the operating cost; his solution was to consolidate and eliminate expendability. Of late, the industry observers have realized 3D printing can help to achieve this goal.

The first ever 3D printed car has a flashy name; it’s called Strati. The car looks handsome enough to turn the heads of auto enthusiasts. It has an electric engine, which means it’s environment friendly. Local Motors is the developer. When other manufacturers will embrace the idea, riding a 3D printed car will be all too common.

Google joins hands with Intel

And works towards releasing an Android software development kit (SDK) through a 3D mapping project by Google called Project Tango, and an intelligent technology called RealSense. A RealSense phone will be able to quickly 3D scan a room and understand the interpretations of the design.

The future

The present looks promising. The future will undoubtedly look even more promising. The tech giants have already started to show interest in 3D gadgets, and we can expect state of the art 3D printers to manufacture intricate gadgets in future.

Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime Vs Xiaomi Redmi Note

Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime Vs Xiaomi Redmi Note

China’s leading smartphone manufacturer, Xiaomi has been dominating the budget segment with some powerful and alluring devices.

In all markets, the renowned smartphone maker has been growing at a great pace, and is taking on the likes of Apple, Samsung, Sony, and HTC.After Mi3, Redmi 1s, and Note 4G, the company brought the next version of Redmi with a decent set of specs. The upgraded Redmi 2 looked pretty impressive, but in front of Lenovo A7000 and Yu Yuphoria, it lost the game pretty early.

This is why, Xiaomi recently launched Redmi 2 Prime, the enhanced version of original Redmi 2. The new Redmi 2 Prime is the first India manufactured device from Xiaomi, and looks like a perfect player to take Yuphoria and other budget beauties rolling in the market. Compared to company’s own Redmi Note 4G, Redmi 2 Prime stands as a tough competitor. But, there are some elements which create a clear line of difference between the powerful budget smartphone and budget phablet from Xiaomi. To know more, check out our detailed comparison feature below!

Design
In terms of design language, Redmi 2 Prime and Note 4G both look pretty impressive and fairly well built.Designed completely from Plastic, both phones feature round corners and give a strong and comfortable grip.No doubt, they’re one of the finest budget phones, but in case you want something sleeker and compact, take your pick with Redmi 2 Prime. It comes with soft touch matte finish, and is a whole lot lighter and thinner than the hefty Note 4G coming with 9.5mm thickness and 185 grams of weight. With a big screen and heavy weight, it might not cater standard smartphone users, but can surely attract budget phablet lovers shopping for a powerful device.

Display
Along with design language, the display capabilities of Redmi 2 Prime and Redmi Note 4G are also incredible. On one hand, the upgraded Redmi 2 Prime features a 4.7-inch HD IPS display with a pixel density of 312ppi, while on the other, the big boy Redmi Note 4G sports a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with a pixel density of 267ppi.The pixel count packed with both devices is same, but unless you’re a big screen lover, Redmi Note 4G will not do any benefit to you. Both phones will give you a decent visual experience, but Redmi 2 Prime with its higher pixel density might just serve better.

Hardware capabilities
Under the hood, Redmi 2 Prime and Note 4G both power up by entry-level Snapdragon processors. The new Redmi 2 Prime is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 chipset clocked at 1.2GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 306GPU, while the bigger Redmi Note 4G houses a quad-core Snapdragon 400 chip clocked at 1.6GHz clubbed with 2GB RAM and Adreno 305GPU. The performance of both devices will be smooth and glitch-free, but since Redmi 2 Prime features 64-bit capabilities, it might just hold an upper hand against Note 4G shipping with an outdated 32-bit processor.

Software
On the software front, there is not much difference between Redmi 2 Prime and Note 4G. On one hand, the India-made version ofRedmi 2 runs Android KitKat-based MIUI 6 out-of-the box, while on the other, the big-boy Note 4G runs Android Jelly Bean-based MIUI 5 out-of-the box, and offers upgradability to MIUI 6-based on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The latest iteration of MIUI comes with a bunch of features, and looks a whole lot better MIUI 5 and older versions.

Camera
The enhanced camera setup of Redmi Note 4G is one of the only few things that make the phablet better than Redmi 2 Prime. The powerful Note phablet ships with a superb 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and offers a bunch of features like LED flash, autofocus, and HDR mode. It gives incredible image quality in daylight and lowlight conditions, and performs better than Redmi 2 Prime boasting an 8-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front-facing snapper. It captures 1080p videos at 30fps and goes head to head with Redmi 2 for in terms of video recording capabilities.

Storage
In terms of storage, Redmi 2 Prime and Note 4G differ by a big margin. On one hand, the India-made version of Redmi 2 ships with 16GB of inbuilt storage and offersexpandability up to 32GB, while on the other, the powerful Note 4G falls behind with mere 8 gigs of internal memory, and expandability up to 64GB. Both phones will certainly give you sufficient storage space, but Redmi 2 Prime with increased internal memory looks much better.

Connectivity
On the connectivity front, Redmi 2 Prime and Note 4G go head to head with a bunch of options like, Wi-Fi, GPRS/EDGE, 3G HSPA+, 4G LTE, Bluetooth v4.0, A-GPS, and micro-USB 2.0. Both devices offer dual-sim support, and give decent browsing experience on 3G, 4G, and Wi-Fi networks. They also pack ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, accelerometer, and gyroscope for better user experience.

Battery
The battery capabilities packed with Redmi Note 4G are way better than the new Redmi 2 Prime. The powerful budget phablet ships with a long-lasting battery of 3100mAh, and holds sufficient amount of juice throughout the day.It promises up to 14 hours of talk time on 3G network, and serves much better than Redmi 2 Prime housing a smaller 2200mAh battery. Whether you’re at home, at office, or at work, the power support packed with Note 4G will always keep you connected.

Price
The new Redmi 2 Prime is hitting the shelves at an enticing price tag of Rs. 6,999, while the bigger Note 4G phablet has been priced slightly higher at Rs. 7,999.Both devices are rolling with a bunch of offers exclusively via Mi.com, and renowned ecommerce stores including, Flipkart, Snapdeal and Amazon India.

Final Verdict
Unless you’re a dedicated phablet lover, Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime will continue to dominate as a better choice over Redmi Note 4G. The India-made enhanced version of Redmi 2 features upgraded hardware specs, and looks much better than the powerful Note Phablet. Its battery capacity is slightly low, but performance will be right on the mark!

Invisible Man A Never Seen Before

Invisible Man A Never Seen Before

Sony  – Zach King, a self-made star with a huge number of followers on SNS, takes an unusual stroll through campus in this film. By using the Action Cam by Sony in a brand new way, King creates a visual trick that allows his fans to see right through.

How it was made:

Micromax Canvas Spark - 5 Things You Need To Know

Micromax Canvas Spark - 5 Things You Need To Know

Micromax has recently launched its brand new smartphone, named the Canvas Spark. The highlight of this handset is that it comes equipped with Android Lollipop 5.0 apart from the only other budget phones, the Intex Aqua L and the Moto E.

The Canvas Spark is one of the few budget smartphones to be introduced with the latest upgrade of Android, and when its pricing is considered then Micromax has clearly beaten its competitors.

Micromax Canvas Spark -best impressions:
Micromax has entered the trend of making budget smart phones with the release of the Canvas series, resembling that of Motorola and Xiaomi that brought the budget phones to the next level. After a long gap, Micromax is back with the cost effective Android smartphone that is powered by a quad core processor. The Canvas Spark’s first impression is that it is a good looking phone, which is mainly due to its sleek and slim form factor, a full matt black back panel and a lightweight structure.

It also features rounded corners with a metallic strip, which gives the phone a premium appearance. The frame of the phone does not feature a shiny chrome finish; rather it is equipped with a smooth matte finish that does not appear cheap. Among the silver and black variants of the Canvas Spark, the black color sports a soft matte finish, which makes it look great and good to hold.

Placement of keys:
The front part of the phone is covered by a 4.7 inch IPS qHD screen. Below the phone’s display, there are three capacitive navigation keys, and above the display are an earpiece and a 2 MP front camera.  For the first time Micromax has featured Android lollipop with physical navigation keys. There is also a change being notified in the placement of application switcher and back keys, and to use the application switcher the users need to press and hold the key.

The back side of the phone presents a removable plastic panel. There is a LED flash and the rear camera along with the Micromax logo. The black back panel appears durable unlike other detachable plastic covers which do not exude a feel of durability. The non-removable battery, a micro SD card slot and 2 micro sim card slots are concealed by the black cover.

Display features:
The power keys and volume rocker are placed at the right edge of the phone for providing a decent tactile feedback. The micro USB port is present at the bottom edge, whereas the headset port has been placed at the top edge of the handset. The overall feel and look of the phone has made it to be rated amongst the best looking budget smartphones in the market.

The Canvas Spark features a 4.7 inch qHD screen with corning gorilla glass three panels to protect it against minor scratches and abrasions. The display provides excellent viewing angles, exact color reproduction and brightness levels, however it was expected that it must have packed a 720p display. The touch response provided by the panel is also good which comes preloaded with the Google’s latest mobile operating system version, android 5.0 Lollipop.

Micromax has however skinned few elements of the user interface. The phone comes fortified with pre-loaded applications like reverie phonebook, quikr, snapdeal, payTM, Chaatz, Hotter and clean master. Fortunately, it also allows the user to uninstall many of the third party applications.

Hardware specifications:
Speaking of the hardware specifications of the handset, it is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core processor with 1GB RAM. It also offers 8GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The phone offers a 2MP front facing and 8MP rear camera. The 8MP camera is highly favored for budget range, though it does not work so well at night.

Users can use the notification settings to block out the notifications from any specific application and choose the one that appears in the priority mode. Micromax has come with a battery saver mode that restricts the background data use and other applications like email.

The material design of android L offers the Canvas Spark’s operating system a fresh look. When it comes to the design, the Micromax Canvas Spark is not very bulky with a plastic back-cover with a matte finish to ensure that the smartphone does not appear tacky.
