According to Apple, iOS 9.0.2 the following issues been fixed:

  • Fixes an issue with the setting to turn on or off app cellular data usage
  • Resolves an issue that prevented iMessage activation for some users
  • Resolves an issue where an iCloud backup could be interrupted after starting a manual backup
  • Fixes an issue where the screen could incorrectly rotate when receiving notifications
  • Improves the stability of Podcasts

How to Update?

Go to Settings app > General > Software Update on your device and tap on the "Download and Install" button.

iOS 9 was released on 16 September 2015. iOS 9.0.2 is available to download for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

Nowadays parents are really concerned about their child’s online and offline lives, because they are more prone to danger and can get themselves into trouble easily. 

But they think that they are too smart and can do nothing wrong, but parents know better than to keep their eyes shut. You have to admit that teens do out smart us a lot of times, because many parents still use the old-school ways of keeping an eye on their children. Well guess what, they can’t anymore!

A lot of parental apps are available which offer different features, but each lacks in some aspect.  But a lot of parents prefer FamilyTime. This parental monitoring app has some interesting features to offer. I tried this app myself and here’s my FamilyTime review:

An overview of FamilyTime
FamilyTime is a parental control app which lets parents monitor their child’s online and offline activities. This app is free for parents and gives a 7-day free Premium trial when they add child profile(s). Even after the trial is over, the app is really cost efficient. Parents and children have different dashboards; parents can access their dashboard from their smartphones and laptops both. From a single dashboard, they can view their teen’s profile, can add as many family members as they want. Moreover, they can set different parental controls for every profile!


Sign up in a single step and activate!
Parents can either register on the website or download the app directly from their phone.  After making a parent account, they can login and add their kid’s profile. After installing the child app on your child’s phone, a code will be received which has to be entered in the child’s app to activate. For every profile added the subscription charges have to be paid separately. But even then,it won’t cause a dent on your budget.



Specs and features
When we talk about features and specifications, this app has so much to offer!This app has a wide range of location and web monitoring features. It not only gives you the location of your child but it also gives you the time and date stamps of every location visited. It lets you monitor your child’s phone usage and allows you to limit it. Some of the features in detail are:

Filter contacts and view call logs
FamilyTime lets you view your child’s contacts the same way they appear on their phones, along with any email address associated to that number. It also lets you view their call logs to see who and how often they contact a specific number along with the time duration.
You can add a suspicious number to your Watchlist and get alerts every time your child contacts it. It updates parents every time their child adds a new contact.

Monitor installed apps 
FamilyTime lets you monitor all the applications installed in your child’s smartphone or tablet. You can identify any inappropriate apps your teen is using and Blacklist it. This way, they will not be able to use any adult or unsuitable app. Also by looking at app usage frequency you can view which app your teen views the most.

Location and Geo-fencing
Don’t want your adventurous teens to get into trouble? Well FamilyTime lets you keep an eye on the whereabouts of your teens along with providing you their location and date stamps. Don’t want him to go to that notorious pub or want to know when he gets to and leave school? Simply Geo-fence the address and get alerts every time he enters and exists the location.

  4. Now the WhatsApp images will be hidden from your phone, if you want to undo the changes simply remove that ( . ) and the process will undo.

This works very well. You take your phone and place it in front of your head. The screen will show a name or theme that you need to guess from the other players’ clues. You only have 60 seconds to find out what is on the screen, so use your time wisely! The screen shows names of celebrities, movie titles, animals, characters and even accents. Did you guess correctly, than you lower your phone. If you want to pass, you lift it up. How many cards can you guess!?

This app has some disadvantages. Sadly, you have to buy each additional deck (99 cents) separately and the app does not keep track of your scores. Another disadvantage is that the app is a little slow sometimes, so it does not always react when you move your device up to pass or down for a correct answer.

This is mostly the result of the unprecedented growth of the Play Store in the past few years. The iOS App Store also saw a significant increase in their sales volume, but not equally in their market share. One of the main reasons the Play Store exceeded the App Store of Apple is its number of developers. As the report of appFigures points out, Google has many more developers on board.

This raises the question what causes this difference in number of developers. Is it more appealing to develop apps for Android than for Apple? The answer is yes and no. On the one hand, Android has a larger marketshare and therefore it can be attractive to work for them. In addition, the terms and requirements of an app in order to be approved are less strict for the Play Store. So as a developer, if you’re not willing to run through a extensive process, you’ll probably prefer Android to Apple.

On the other hand, regarding the money you make as a developer, you should definitely join up with Apple. Analytics Company App Annie found out that iOS App Store developers earn 60% more money compared to their Android-colleagues. As a result of this difference in revenue a lot of developers launch their creations in the Apple App Store first, before approaching Android.

The future
That said, let’s take a look at the number of apps of both stores. The Google Play Store offers just about 1.43 million apps, while the iOS App Store contains about 1.21 million apps. It’s a difficult task to forecast the extent to which both stores will grow in the near future. Just open the WhatsApp web and scan the QR code given on website. At the time of scanning your smartphone will pair the web browser to your phone and its give the output of all your conversation messages. This will happen when your phone is connected to internet.

How Can You Directly Transfer Data Between iPhone And Android Phone?

Many users want to transfer data between iPhone and Android phone devices. The main problem is transfer the data into different OS.

To Transfer The Contacts:
If you have Google account then you wouldn't have such problem.

For Setup:
Go to the settings of iPhone-> Mail, Contacts, Calender
Once you entered in contacts section then select Default account. By default it's ticked on iCloud but you have to tick Gmail here. 

All your contacts will be copied in seconds because they are uploaded on the same Google account.

To Transfer The Music:
Just sign in to the Google Play Music from your new device.
Download and install the music manager and select the iTunes option.

To Transfer the Data from Mobile to PC and PC to Mobile:
Import your images and videos from your iPhone to your Windows PC.

Follow these steps:

  1. Connect your iPhone to your computer via the iPhone’s proprietary USB cable, preferably using a USB port at the back of your PC.
  2. Open My Computer. Under the Portable Devices section, find your iPhone’s storage and right-click on its icon.
  3. Click on Import Pictures and Videos from the menu that pops up. This will cause your PC to scan your iPhone for images and videos.
  4. After scanning completes, click on Import to copy found images and videos to your PC. The default location for the copied files will be in a subfolder in your My Pictures folder.
  5. At this point, you may now unplug the iPhone from your PC.
  6. Next, copy the imported videos and images from your PC to your Android device. 

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Connect your Android device to your PC via USB cable. Your Android’s storage should be automatically detected.
  2. Open your Android device’s storage and navigate to the image folder. This is usually the DCIM folder. If you want, create a sub-folder to copy the iPhone photos and videos that you will be copying in the next few steps.
  3. Open the My Pictures folder on your PC.
  4. Copy the imported images and videos from your My Pictures sub-folder to your Android’s images (sub)folder.
